Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Jade Funds collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects information when you visit our website, contact us, or use the Jade Funds service.

Who this policy covers
This policy applies to information Jade Funds receives through jadefunds.com, demo and support conversations, and the Jade Funds application.
When a church or other nonprofit uses Jade Funds, that organization controls the information placed in its workspace and decides who may access it. Jade Funds processes that information to provide the service to the organization. If you have a question about information in a church workspace, you may need to contact that organization’s account administrator first.
Information we collect
Information you provide
We may collect your name, email address, phone number, role, organization details, demo requests, support messages, billing contact information, and other information you choose to provide.
Account and church finance information
When an organization uses Jade Funds, the service may process account and membership information, roles and permissions, financial accounts, transactions, funds, budgets, receipts and attachments, notes and comments, reports, imports and exports, and records of review or administrative activity.
Connected financial account information
If an authorized user chooses to connect a financial institution through Plaid, Jade Funds may receive financial account and transaction information made available through that connection. Plaid connections are optional. An organization can also use supported manual accounts and imports without connecting a financial institution.
Technical and website information
We may collect IP address, browser and device information, dates and times of access, pages or features used, diagnostic information, and security events. Our website and service may also use cookies or similar technologies for essential functions, preferences, performance, security, analytics, and embedded scheduling tools. See our Cookie Policy for more information.
How we use information
We use information to:
- provide, maintain, and support Jade Funds;
- set up and administer accounts, organizations, roles, and permissions;
- process the financial records and workflows an organization asks us to handle;
- respond to inquiries, schedule demos, and provide support;
- send account, security, billing, and other service-related communications;
- detect, investigate, and prevent misuse, fraud, security incidents, and service failures;
- understand and improve the website and service; and
- meet legal, accounting, contractual, and compliance obligations.
How we share information
We disclose information only as needed for the purposes described in this policy:
- Service providers. Providers may help us with hosting and database infrastructure, network protection, file storage, email delivery, payment processing, scheduling, error monitoring, analytics, customer support, and backups. They receive only the information needed to perform their work for us.
- Connected services. If an authorized user enables an integration, including a Plaid bank connection, we exchange information with that service as needed to provide the requested feature.
- Organization administrators. Administrators may manage users and access information within their organization’s workspace.
- Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect Jade Funds, our customers, users, or others.
- Business changes. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
Providers used in operating Jade Funds may include Cloudflare for network services and object storage, Plaid for optional financial account connections, Resend for transactional email, and Sentry for error monitoring. Our provider list may change as the service changes.
How we protect information
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. These include encrypted connections, access controls, role-based permissions within each organization, multi-factor authentication for administrative accounts where supported, audit records for security-relevant activity, and separation between production and non-production environments.
Sensitive application fields and uploaded attachment contents are protected with application-level encryption. We also limit administrative access to legitimate support, maintenance, security, and operational needs. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service and as directed by the organization, subject to applicable legal, accounting, security, and contractual requirements. After a subscription ends, an organization will have at least 90 days to access its workspace and export available records. Customer information is scheduled for deletion from active systems between 90 and 365 days after termination. Information removed from active systems may remain in protected backups for up to one year after termination before those backups expire. Some records may be archived or deactivated instead of being edited or deleted so that financial history remains accurate.
When an organization disconnects a supported bank connection, Jade Funds stops requesting new data through that connection. Verified deletion requests are handled in accordance with applicable law, contractual obligations, and the organization’s instructions. Information deleted from active systems may remain in protected backups until those backups expire under their retention schedule.
Your choices and requests
Depending on your relationship with Jade Funds and applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, export, or delete personal information, or object to certain uses. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. If the information belongs to a church workspace, we may direct the request to that organization’s administrator.
You may unsubscribe from optional marketing emails by using the link in the message. Service, account, billing, and security messages may still be sent when necessary to provide the service.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Jade Funds, our providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above. If a change materially affects how we handle information, we will provide additional notice when appropriate.
