Terms and Conditions
These terms govern access to the Jade Funds website and service. By creating an account, accepting an order, or using Jade Funds, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the organization you represent.

Agreement and eligibility
These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) are an agreement between Greenstone Missions LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company doing business as Jade Funds (“Jade Funds,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), and the person or organization using the Jade Funds website, application, and related services (the “Service”). If you use the Service for a church, nonprofit, or other organization, “you” includes that organization.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you accept these Terms for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Service.
The Service is offered for use by organizations and authorized users in the United States.
An order form, proposal, checkout page, or other written ordering document accepted by you (an “Order”) may include additional commercial terms. If an Order conflicts with these Terms, the Order controls only for that conflict. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
The Jade Funds service
Jade Funds provides software designed to help churches and other nonprofit organizations organize and review financial information, including accounts, transactions, funds, budgets, receipts, attachments, and reports. The features available to you may depend on your subscription and Order.
We may improve or modify the Service over time. We will not materially reduce the core functionality of a paid subscription during its current term without reasonable notice, except when a change is needed to address a security, legal, provider, or operational issue. Features identified as beta, preview, or experimental may change or be discontinued at any time.
Accounts, administrators, and access
You must provide accurate account information and keep it current. You are responsible for protecting account credentials and for activity performed through your accounts. Do not share an individual login among multiple people. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or a security incident involving the Service.
Your organization chooses its administrators and authorized users. Administrators may invite or remove users, assign roles, manage access, connect supported services, and act on behalf of the organization. Your organization is responsible for reviewing access and promptly removing users who should no longer have it.
Customer data and privacy
As between you and Jade Funds, your organization retains its rights in the information, records, files, and other content submitted to or created in its workspace (“Customer Data”). You give Jade Funds a limited right to host, copy, transmit, display, modify, and otherwise process Customer Data only as reasonably needed to provide, secure, maintain, and support the Service, comply with law, and carry out your instructions.
You are responsible for Customer Data and for ensuring that you have the rights, permissions, and authority needed for Jade Funds to process it. You decide what information to place in the Service and who may access it.
We may create and use aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you, your organization, or an individual to operate, secure, analyze, and improve the Service. We will not sell or rent Customer Data or share church financial data with third parties for their own marketing.
Connected services
If an authorized user connects a financial institution or another third-party service, you authorize Jade Funds and that provider to exchange the information needed to provide the requested connection. Connections made through Plaid are also subject to Plaid’s applicable terms and privacy policy. Third-party services are controlled by their providers, and Jade Funds is not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or independent practices.
Disconnecting a service stops future requests through that connection but does not automatically remove information already imported into your workspace.
Your responsibilities
Your organization is responsible for:
- reviewing the accuracy and completeness of transactions, balances, classifications, fund restrictions, budgets, reports, imports, and exports;
- maintaining appropriate approvals, separation of duties, access controls, backups or exports, and other internal financial controls;
- determining the records it must retain and how long it must retain them;
- obtaining authorization before connecting financial accounts or submitting personal or financial information;
- complying with laws, regulations, contracts, grant conditions, organizational policies, and denominational requirements that apply to it; and
- independently verifying information before relying on it for payments, filings, financial statements, audits, or other significant decisions.
Professional advice
Jade Funds provides software and related support. It is not your accountant, auditor, attorney, tax adviser, fiduciary, bank, or financial institution. Information produced by the Service does not replace professional judgment or advice. Your organization remains responsible for its accounting policies, treatment of restricted or designated funds, financial statements, tax filings, legal compliance, and financial decisions.
Acceptable use
You may use the Service only for lawful organizational purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:
- access the Service or Customer Data without authorization;
- submit information you do not have the right to use or disclose;
- use the Service to violate law or another person’s rights;
- introduce malware or interfere with the security, integrity, or operation of the Service;
- probe or test the Service for vulnerabilities without our prior written permission;
- circumvent usage limits or access controls;
- reverse engineer or attempt to derive source code from the Service except where applicable law does not permit that restriction; or
- resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to another organization unless an Order expressly permits it.
Subscriptions, fees, and payment
Jade Funds offers monthly and annual subscriptions. The price, billing frequency, included features, and any implementation or support fees are stated in your Order or at signup. You authorize us and our payment provider to charge the payment method you provide for amounts due under the Order. Fees do not include taxes, and you are responsible for applicable sales, use, or similar taxes other than taxes based on our income.
New subscriptions include a seven-day free trial unless a different offer is disclosed at signup. Unless you cancel through your account settings before the trial ends, your paid subscription will begin automatically and the payment method you provided will be charged. Any different trial or promotional terms will be disclosed before you subscribe.
Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically for successive periods of the same length until canceled. The renewal amount or method for determining it and the cancellation instructions will be disclosed before you subscribe. By affirmatively accepting a subscription, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. We will provide notices required by applicable law.
Payments are nonrefundable except where required by law or expressly stated in an Order. We may suspend paid access for an overdue undisputed amount after giving reasonable notice and an opportunity to pay.
Support and availability
Standard support is generally available by email at [email protected] from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on business days. Unless we agree to a separate service-level commitment in writing, we do not guarantee a particular response time, resolution time, or level of uninterrupted availability.
We may temporarily limit access for planned maintenance, urgent repairs, security protection, legal compliance, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. When practical, we will provide notice of planned interruptions that materially affect use of the Service.
Ownership and feedback
Jade Funds and its licensors own the Service, including its software, design, documentation, and trademarks. Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we give your authorized users a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use the Service during the subscription term for your organization’s internal purposes.
If you voluntarily provide suggestions or feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or payment, provided that doing so does not give us ownership of Customer Data or permission to identify your organization publicly.
Cancellation, suspension, and termination
You may cancel a subscription through your account settings. Unless applicable law or an Order says otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid term and does not produce a refund for the remaining term. You will retain access through the end of that paid term.
We may suspend or restrict access when reasonably necessary to prevent a security threat, unlawful activity, material harm to the Service or others, or continued use after payment becomes overdue. When practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
Either party may terminate for a material breach that is not corrected within 30 days after written notice. We may terminate immediately for unlawful use, deliberate interference with the Service, or a security threat that cannot reasonably be addressed through suspension.
Data after termination
After a subscription ends, your organization will have at least 90 days to access its workspace and export available records in CSV format. This post-termination access is provided for retrieval of Customer Data, not continued use of paid features. Contact us during that period if you need help understanding available export options.
Customer Data is scheduled for deletion from active systems between 90 and 365 days after termination, subject to your organization’s instructions and applicable legal, security, and contractual requirements. Information removed from active systems may remain in protected backups for up to one year after termination before those backups expire.
Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Jade Funds disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and noninfringement. We do not warrant that the Service will always be uninterrupted or error-free, that third-party data will be accurate or complete, or that use of the Service will satisfy every legal, accounting, tax, audit, grant, or denominational requirement that applies to your organization.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable under these Terms for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenues, goodwill, or business opportunities, even if advised that those damages were possible.
To the extent permitted by law, each party’s total liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the fees paid or payable to Jade Funds for the Service during the 12 months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not apply to your payment obligations, either party’s fraud or willful misconduct, or liability that cannot legally be limited.
Indemnification
You will defend and indemnify Jade Funds and its personnel against a third-party claim arising from Customer Data or your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law. We will promptly notify you of the claim, allow you to control its defense and settlement, and provide reasonable cooperation. You may not settle a claim in a way that admits fault by Jade Funds or imposes a nonmonetary obligation on us without our written consent.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service or legal requirements change. We will post the revised Terms and update the date above. If a change materially affects an active paid subscription, we will provide reasonable advance notice. Except when a change is required sooner for legal or security reasons, material changes will take effect at the start of the next renewal term or on the date stated in the notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
General terms
Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent, except as part of a merger, reorganization, or sale of substantially all relevant assets. We may assign these Terms as part of a merger, reorganization, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets.
If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and any applicable Order make up the entire agreement about the Service and replace prior discussions or representations about that subject. Headings and the short summary are provided for convenience and do not change the meaning of these Terms.
